Toothpaste tube solution! This is going to be a short post. And there’s a good chance you’re one of the few people who’ll ever read it — besides me. But I like to share simple solutions when I find them.
Basically I finally got tired of wrestling with my toothpaste tube. And I never got around to buying one of those special toothpaste squeezers.
Seek and ye shall find
So like most of my suggestions on this site, I looked around for something I already had in the apartment and voila! A binder clip. So simple. And so effective.
That’s it. That’s the tip. Use a plain old binder clip — or any other clip you already have that won’t damage the tube itself. Even a clothespin or one of those clips for sealing bags of chips. You don’t need to go out and buy a special device.
No more toothpaste tube wrestling. And a lot less cursing when you see the hand-squeezed tube unwind for the zillionth time. Just roll from the bottom of the tube, clip the rolled up portion, and you’re done!
